What shall I do?

Okay, so here is my (sort of) dilemma!
The niche I chose is healthy, family approved meals! I am really passionate about health and wellness especially when it comes to my family and nourishing them! I wanted to take what I had learned and share it with others hence why I chose this niche!
One of the pages within the site I added is "motherhood" where I talk about my journey as a mom and step mom. I figured this would be a way to not only show that I am relevant, but connect with my readers.
I guess where I am struggling is, should I keep it on this site? I mean a large focus of my site IS family friendly recipes but I feel like I sort of have a second niche on there. Or am I on the right path of thinking by having it and leaving it there to connect with my reader?
Thanks for your help, I tend to overthink most things :)
