Increasing Traffic

Okay, so, I finally have Google Analytics and what I am discovering is that my traffic is not where it needs to be!

I am so confused by this because I have followed all of the training steps, have shared posts to my social media, etc. Does it just take a while? Do I just need to be more patient (which is not a strength of mine!)?

One of the things I am thinking might be the issue is I might not be using keywords from Jaaxy correctly? When I search for keywords, I am finding those with a QSR that is low which is what I thought we need to go for, right? When I go and type them within quotes on google, I am finding way more results than what are indicated in Jaaxy. In the video when Kyle searches the keywords he has found on Jaaxy, the search results match in google! I don't get it!

Any advice for a newbee that is bound and determined to be successful at this?

If you search for an exact match of "christianity and cannibalism" by including the quote marks you'll see this http://d.pr/i/kjOO which shows 1,250,000 results. However, if you then work your way through to the last page of those search results you'll see this http://d.pr/i/7cX7 showing in fact there are only 90 exact matches that are relevant. The initial figure includes partial matches.

Okay, so I can assume Jaaxy is correct then and continue to use results with a QSR under 100? If you have those exact keywords and not just partial, does your post show up before those pages with partial matches or does it just depend on your google ranking?

Yes. You should outrank all partial matches with the exact keyword, but obviously very new sites with little content won't do that.
