400+ Articles On My Websites To End The Year!

In terms of productivity, there's no doubt in my mind that it's been a great year. In fact this was something I struggled with every year before but, because I'm actually passionate about making affiliate marketing work, it all really seems to have flown by.

However, unfortunately for me it wasn't all smooth sailing...

Firstly, I'll address my goals from last year. I ended last year with just over 100 posts (102 to be exact) on my one website and at the end of the year, due to a post by Roope and as I kinda wanted to challenge myself, I set some very ambitious goals, some of which I achieved and others that I fell well short of.

Last Years Goals

The first goal I set for myself was to have 370 posts written and published on my website. If you've read the title, then you should already know that I completely smashed this goal.

My bootcamp site currently has 392 posts published (5 not published) and I also created another site (mostly because at one point I felt like this site was going to die out) which is just a normal affiliate site that has 22 posts. In total this leaves me with a grand total of 414 unique articles on both websites combined.

So yeah, I more than achieved this goal and even obtained my updated goal of 415 posts.

And obviously, I also had some money goals but, I didn't reach my primary one of $1k/month by November. I did however make a yearly sale to achieve my 3 figure goal I May which was a month later than I wanted.

All in all, I'd consider this year to be a big success.

I even made a couple days and even covers my yearly fee by making a little over $460 in commissions for my first serious year within wealthy, which isn't too bad but, I know people have done better.

The Ups And Downs

This year has been very much up and down for me in the business front, particularly due to an update in June and a horrendous error on my part (deleting all the images on my website) which ultimately resulted in my traffic stooping from around 5k users per month to less than 1k a month over a three month period. The image below basically shows how steep the drop was.

Of course I didn't give because I knew these kind of losses are recoverable, that's not to say that I didn't like the fact it happend.

My efforts in publishing did decrease from once a day to around 20 a month in that period of time. However, as you can tell I was still consistent, I continued following the process because I knew the content I was creating did follow wealthy affiliates best practices. Low and behold, in October the numbers started going up again, which just meant the process worked and trust me, the fact I recovered felt really good.

It was also within that period that I started writing regularly again, daily even, which was a little difficult to get grips with initially, even more so beacause I was juggling other commitments in the process nevertheless, the perseverance and with wanting it so bad, I did manage at least 1 post a day since October.

In Preparation For The Next Year

I guess at this point in time I'm very well prepared to target vegas next year.

I also am not going to be as ambitious as last year goals which is why my goals are going to be a little lower this time round.

Make 4 Figures By May

And Lastly...

Try And Make Vegas 2021!

I guess I have a few miscellaneous fitness and music based goals but, they'll play secondary to these so they're not as important until I've hit most of my primary targets.

That's everything I have to add so hopefully it's provided some motivation for you, at least in the sense that persevering can sometimes prove very fruitful.

At this moment in time I can only hope it's up from here however, I can't predict the future so I gotta take it one step at a time, and who knows if you and I both does some of the crazier goals might just become a reality!
