Has Any One Heard Of TimeBank?
I was reading a blog about outsourcing work and found mention of TimeBank. I was curious and did a search and this is what I found.
TimeBank is a not for protit group that allows members to exchange job/ projects of all sorts. Such as, I have skills in photo-editing and I work on a project for someone for three hours, I can use those three hours of work to get, say, a plumber to come to my house and fix my sink, at no cost to me. The system works on the honor code.
This organization is in 36 countries and is broken down into local chapters, so each local group may have a large number of members or a small number of members. The members could have any type of professional or trades training.
This seems to be a great way to get work done for you that you are not trained for and for you to help someone else to get a job done that they are not trained to do.
Remember, this is a straight up trade hour for hour work system, no money involved, so if you are on a tight budget,, this may help you out. To learn more about TimeBanks you came check it out here:https://actionhub.timebanks.org Not an affiliate link. Just a resource.

As Sherion noted - Great Example of The Barter System - There are a lot of companies and groups in the US that connect companies that do this type of trade. Some have networks throughout the country and International members. Before taking jobs or offering services, make sure there is stuff that you want or products that you need in the network
