Blocked Head Or BlockHead

I really needed to spend this morning working on my website. But the thoughts are all running around my head like angry in a beehive.

My body is fighting a war with this cold, I had last week. I think it may be turning into bronchitis again. And I so dislike trips to the doctor.

I think my main problem with focus today is, my second daughter, who lives with us, had a wreak Friday night and totaled the van she has been paying on for the last two years.

She was very lucky to walk away from the accident with just a contusion on her leg. I happened right out front of the house. I heard the whole thing.

My problem is I came so close to losing her. She was rear ended and pushed into oncoming traffic and was struck again by the oncoming traffic that she had stopped for. We live on a busy highway. It could have just as easily been a big rig truck that hit her as the truck traffic is heavy sometimes.

The reason I am having so much trouble is that last December 2011, I lost my oldest daughter to a drunk driver as she was crossing the road. She was only 32 years old.

It is a daily struggle to continue a day to day existence when I know how quick live can change for you.

That day has had a major impact on my outlook on life and how I want to live to rest of mine. That is way I am here at Wealthy Affiliate. And why I will continue to struggle with my lack of time, my lack of focus. because I am serious, in my struggle to change my lifestyle and my income to reflect my new outlook on life.

Thanks for listening to me ramble. I am determined to get back on track.

There are no guarantees hon, and life is anything but fair. All you have is the here and now. Not this evening, or even an hour from now, but here and now, Once I realized this i really learned the true meaning of living in the present. I feel your fear. I am happy she is still with you, and my condolences on your loss.

Thanks, Shawn. I pretty much am a day by day person. I am not the type of person to hold on to things. Losing My daughter, made me realize it was time to start living the dream of having an online business. Cause life is to short to be wasting on some one elses dream.

You know, sometimes I will start feeling so sorry for myself and then I read something like this and I reflect on how hard it must be to lose a child. I cannot imagine the pain and the grief that you live with every day. I am going to add you to my personal prayer list and will remember you in my prayers each and every day. God is truly the only one that can help you with your pain, but I can pray for you. God will take you through this and I wish for more blessings to fall on you and make your life easier.

Joyce aka Nana

Thanks Joyce for adding me to your prayer list. I know my daughter is in a better place, but it's like having your arm cut off. You know its gone, but you can still feel it. Thank you for your kindness.

You are in our thoughts. Having had to watch my wife battle Cancer (which she is now clear of), and being called to an accident where a JCB had rammed the side of my Granddaughters car I (unfortunately), have some idea of what you are going through. All of lifes daily issues pale into insignificance when we are challenged like this doesn't it? As you say life is so precious.
regards
Hudson

I am glad you wife won her fight against Cancer. And hope your Grand Daughter is ok. These types of challenges make us realize how fragile life can be. And that we should make the most of the life we have.

My thoughts are with you and thankfully your daughter is ok. I lost my mother many years back. Although time helps to heal, you never forget. The older I get, the more I realize life is SO precious and we really need to enjoy our present moment with those we love.
Wishing you and your family all the best.
~Dee

Thanks Dee for your kind words. Life is precious, thank you for your thoughts. I still have trouble speaking about my daughter.

I understand totally your concerns but the right way as you have written is to get back on track.

Thanks, I will not let anything come between my goals anymore. I hope to be able to teach my other daughters that there is another way to live and make a living than being dependent on the whims of an employer.
