Find me only 3 things.
Having an attitude of gratitude is probably one of the most important tools one can have to creating more success and contentment in our lives. To often we take the things that we have for granted, food on the table, a hug from a friend, a nice word from a stranger. We let these beautiful things pass us by like ships in the night and wonder why we remain so numb.
We are all guilty of this and I for one have been neglecting my gratitude as of late...maybe a few little successes that I've had of late has got me a tad complacent, who knows. But the universe as swift as it is has come "a knockin" so to speak and it has been in my face daily. Out on the street, on social media, here at WA, people are talking about gratitude and how to "get it".
This is not going to be a blog about how to get it but rather how to let the seeds of gratitude grow in your heart from all the wonderful things that are around you right now. For the beauty you seek you shall find, this I am sure of, and all it takes is to write down and acknowledge 3 things that you are grateful for today.
And as the law of attraction states, what you think about most of you will attract...So actively looking for and acknowledging the good news of the day will bring more of it. This isn't rocket science folks, it is simple and it's attainable for all. I will start off this gratitude train with 3 things that I am grateful for. I will make it simple and to the point as that is all it takes and then I would love YOU to list me 3 things that you are grateful for "today".
1. I am thrilled to bits that I have just finished off a new work (and I'd love to show it you guys of course)
2. My daughter is playing the saxophone in her first concert tomorrow, I am grateful for this as she has the opportunity to play an instrument where I couldn't due to my disability.
3. Grateful for the beautiful sunny day that we had in Sydney today, it was very cold but the sun was out and there was not a cloud in the sky :o)

Good post Amber. This is your winter isn't it? We are baking in the southeastern part of the US, 85C - 90C everyday. Seriously, I am thankful to wake up 6 feet above ground and not 6 feet under. In this way I am free to think of the countless things that I am thankful for, just not the hot weather. cheers... :)
Lol...you would be dying here in summer then. In the peak of our summers we can easily get over 104. Sydney got it's highest temp in 2013 at a staggering 114...that combined with a spark and wind is a deadly combo down here
1) I am grateful I get to see my grandchildren this afternoon and get to help them with revision for school exams.
2) I am grateful for the lovely walk I enjoyed with my dog this morning.
3) I am grateful that we have plenty of food and that I was able to make a large blackberry and apple cake for my daughter and her family with the blackberries I picked last autumn and froze.
That's it for today. In fact, the minute I started thinking about it I could easily have come up with a dozen things....
Thanks for helping us focus our minds on all the great things we have that we often take for granted.
I really love love way you have noted these things in such a free, flowing way...if you could list 3 things like this every day it would really bring about more joy and success to you. I love the fact that you could see the beauty in making the cake for your daughter...just beautiful :o)
I'm grateful for (today and every day) to be alive, to be happy and to have a great family.
I'm working now on a Journal Quilt, on my Quilting site, about abundance in our lives, how much we have already and we don't notice, every month I work on a different thing to work on the quilt and to be grateful for.

Wonderful concept for your quilting site...I've only written 1 post on gratitude, but I think it's something I need to continually blog about.
Iam grateful for the love of my daughter which she conveys every time she hugs me. I was grateful for the opportunity to help a mate get a job today, and Iam grateful for the opportunity to help a total stranger who needed someone to talk to about the loss of his job and possible loss of his house in 3 months time. I gave him options so that things weren't so bad. Those were my three things "just for today"
I am sure that you would be attracting a lot of people that need help...keep on shining the way :o)
I am grateful that I live on this precious place Earth, that I can breath, move,see, love and laugh.
P.S. I see is to many things here. Live, love and laugh are these three things:)
I am grateful for my Mum,I don,t know how I would cope if she were not here.My animals which I love,I am just back from walking the dog on the beach and I suppose the place where we can walk the Dog,its like a huge green that leads to the beach.
I have to comment on your drawing again,you are a really gifted artist Amber,I would love to see something in colour,that drawing you did would be beautiful in colour.
I love our pets too, i've only just got into dogs recently as i've been a cat person all my life...we got a whippet which is apparently the closest breed to having a cat temperament.
I truly am not that good with colour Mark...believe it or not. I think the drawing would be lost if it were in colour and maybe a bit too over the top for the eye?
The 3 things I am most grateful today? The same 3 I'm ALWAYS grateful for; 1. good health, 2. good family, 3. good neighbors.
