WA Image Studio #10 of 26: Art Style “Ink & Wash”

This Art Style may be in the top 3 for me, at least for this image. Definitely top 5, I love this one a bunch. I might actually print this one and hang it up--or maybe even expand it and put it on a wind spinner. I'll test an expansion in Image Studio later and post that back here.

Nocturnal Garden

A black cat sits in watercolor gray,

watching clouds drift across the butter moon.

The sunflowers glow like captured pieces of the day,

and somewhere in the distance, crickets croon.

Above, a butterfly—

impossible, delightful—

flutters through the starlight

on wings that shouldn't be,

colors borrowed from a dream.

The cat doesn't question this.

Cats never do.

She simply sits among the clovers,

eyes wide as twin moons themselves,

and thinks her quiet cat thoughts

about the strange and lovely things

that happen when the world goes soft—

when watercolors bleed at the edges,

when butterflies forget to sleep,

when sunflowers stand watch

over small black guardians

in fields that exist somewhere

between the canvas and the night.

In this series of posts, I am experimenting with the different “Art Styles” that are available in the first version of Image Studio which was launched within Wealthy Affiliate in early November. This is a very exciting addition to the Wealthy Affiliate platform, which opens up a host of opportunities for us members in our affiliate and other businesses. 🙌

For this purpose, I am using the same exact prompt each time (image ratio of 1:1) and no Reference Image, so as to have as pure a comparison as possible.

At the start of this series, there are 25 styles (26, including “None”).
