Not Your Typical Extra-informative Blog Post....
Just a thought that occurred to me today. Maybe you can relate. Or maybe you already know this super-easy info and I'm late for the party, as usual.
Or maybe it's in one of the courses somewhere that I haven't gotten to yet...but I'm posting this in case none of the above are true. (And @Kyle or @Carson, please correct me if I'm wrong here):

I have a tendency to reply with a "thank you" when SiteSupport responds to a ticket. I confirmed today with my own eyes that it reopens the ticket...which means SiteSupport would have to go back in and "resolve" it again to close it out.
Ain't nobody (in SiteSupport) got time for that lol.
But I don't want to stop saying thanks, so I wondered to myself if there was a way for me to close out a ticket...and I clicked on that inviting little "drop-down" arrow next to the "Mark Unread" button, and--lo and behold, "Resolve Ticket" is the first option, before Delete.
I'm wondering how many of the open tickets they are contending with are "thank-yous" and the like. Judging by the very helpful nature of this community, I imagine there might be quite a few. And, again, maybe everybody else already knows this and I'm the odd man out, but at least I'm used to that :) ...I'll just go over into my corner and close out any open (but resolved) thank-yous I might have clogging up the system lol.
