WA Ranks and Motivations

Hi all

This blog post is just a general post about Rankings in WA.

So, every time I log in to WA, the first thing I check is what Rank I am on. Today I am on 4382. By the time you read my post it might go up or down depending on the work done by my other community friends.

For the past couple of days, my rank has improved massively. Well for one it was because I did not log in for long and then started some routine work and it jumped from 10000 something to above 6000.

I am a person who likes to improve and move up the ladder in every aspect of my life. Going up in the Rank ladder motivates me to work more and organise my work more so I can contribute every day to my personal websites and also WA community within by helping other members.

I have noticed that recently I have been enjoying my work within WA quiet a lot and I am extremely excited to improve my rank and also be an Ambassador one day. By helping others, I will learn more myself. I definitely need to manage my time and spend less time watching Face off seasons (which by the way I only found out about recently) and I am addicted to them.

Another thing that motivates me to do more work is people following me on WA or people I come across when commenting on other training threads etc.

When I get a notification that someone has followed me, I go to their profile and see how they are doing. On some occassions I noticed that people who joined only a few months are doing way better than I am and they are ranked in 100s instead of 1000s. First of all it just makes me think why did they follow me, I am not even doing much to help them or even myself so it does make me want to do more.

Today I came across one of them who is 22 years old guy, joined in October 2016 and Ranked 65. I just went Whoooa... It is so amazing to see someone younger than and fairly new to community as compared to you( I am 24 and joined WA in 2014) doing so well.

I think this is getting a bit too long and instead of spending my time writing more about how I am feeling right now, I should plan my next few days on how to improve further in terms of ranking. On the other hand, it can be a nice reading break for all those hard working people out there who I am competing with for my Rankings. :)
