The way we were taught in school was to outline your essay before you wrote it.
And while that may be a good idea for presenting facts, I've often found it dry - I could g
Both. I frequently work from an outline. I outline 10 - 15 articles and then sit and write them one after another. Then at other times I just write from intuition and follow a basic pattern I will have in my head. Both work equally well for me - but then I enjoy writing.
10-15! That's awesome productivity.
Do you write them at one go or over a few days?
Writing is bliss. Except when it's torment. But then it's still bliss :).
Writers are ... interesting people, aren't they? :).
Remember to be yourself and don't sound too scripted. I think in terms that those lessons taught in school were more like "guidelines" I tried to to write as if I'm talking "to" some one rather than "at' them. Oh yeah, #4, totally do that as well. Something to work on I guess:)

Not caring enough produces crap. Caring too much produces ... nothing that gets out the door :).
Help us to care and not care..
Number 4 was funny, yeah, it would be one to eliminate lol. I write with both, I believe just because you outline something it doesn't have to include all dry content. And sometimes I just write what I need to.
So, you do both. Maybe that's the way, eh. In writing this discussion, I realised that's what I do, too.
It reminds me of an old Charlie Brown cartoon. Charlie Brown was asking one of the other kids whether one thing or the other was true. I think it was Linus, who replied that it's a bit of both. I can't remember what the topic of discussion was.
Anyway, Charlie Brown responded by saying, "I guess the truth is as wishy-washy as I am."
It seems that the further along I get, the more the answer to, "Is it X or Y?" becomes, "Yes."

It works great on a website of mine that's not hosted on WA, but with my WA-hosted sites, the images aren't showing.
I'll try to get support from the WA guys and report back here.
How did you do with support?
