Does the thought of writing turn you into a quivering mess? Does the housework start to look very attractive when you stare at a blank screen?
Here's a quick tip on how to overcome your fear of writing that should calm your nerves:
Take the pressure off trying to write a long post. Yesterday I wrote a review and I said to myself:
"No stress - just write 250 words" and away I went.

At the end I did my word count and was totally surprised to see the number 850 pop up. I truly thought I had written 250 words.
So what's the trick?
- I created a list - 5 products - so instantly more to write about.
- I listed out the features for each but focused on the benefits.
- For each feature I think SO. For example the Lighthouse Solar Power Lantern is very small. SO...if you are a world travelling surfer you can travel the world easily with this lightweight lantern and visit the best beaches! SO...you can surf during the day and light your camp at night so...and on it goes.
- In this way you are solving a problem by telling a story.
- I personally like it when a firm decision is made so I chose my favorite product at the end of the review.
Bonus tip:
Add product videos (from YouTube) to your reviews. It's always good for people to see the product in action.
So, just think 250 words and away you go.
I hope this post has helped you to overcome your fear of writing. And see even this quick tip turned into more of a medium one!
