South Africa and the Beauty of Mother Nature
Something short...
So I live in a city called Nelspruit in South Africa, It is about 56km from the closest gate to the Kruger National Park.
For those that does not know about the Kruger National Park (KNP), it is Africa's biggest game reserve. You can see a lot of wildlife here including the Big 5. You can drive in your car and experience the animals up close, but you have to be careful and respect the animals space.
When ever I feel overwhelmed with all the daily stress I can just drive there and spend the day in nature and see all her beauty.
Especially when our government decided to move us to "Stage 4" Load Shedding (The government switched off the power of an area for several hours at a time" then you cannot do much. No TV, No Phones and No internet.
With these scheduled power cuts, it is just easier to take time off, especially this time of year when we get go take breaks from work. I normally take this opportunity to go to the KNP and just relax. Become one with the nature.
So whenever everything gets too much I think of the beauty of freedom
This is to what I wake up every morning :)

We have that in the far west. Animals everywhere, but not like Africa. It must be magnificent.

Beautiful place, indeed a great place to relax as long as you are not out of your vehicle when the lions around!
I'm excited to visit your gorgeous country one day. I used to work on board a cruise ship and have quite a few South African friends from various areas throughout the country. I have a friend in Jo-Burg who also lives very close to a park. I'd love to see it one day.
