Google's New Pop-Up Change

Google has announced they will devalue pages that are using pop-ups on mobile pages. This also includes pages that overlay an initial page or force the initial page below the fold. These are called mobile interstitials – including fake interstitials. This change in the ranking is to take place on January 10, 2017. This change supposedly will not affect desktop searches.
