Hi Alan, why, planing my retirement. Irv.

I'm pleased to hear it, Irv.

Hello Alan, I am certain my why of being here matches my vision of the future. It has a bearing on my vision, but is not driving force that will move me towards that vision. My "why," is to keep my mind challenged and continue to use some of the skills I learnt over the years whenI worked. I have done that through volunteering, but I found I needed a little more incentive than knowing I am contributing to the betterment of society. My vision is to retire in Jamaica and do whatever I am pursuing from there or wherever I happen to be. With my current income I can see my vision come to fruition, but should I make a little extra income along the way, well I will not say no.

A very interesting and thoughtful reply - thank you.

So I can have a great retirement

Here, here!

Why? Because we can. Because we will!

Yes, Sue.

To fill the gap between S.S.I. and being homeless

1

A very frank answer!

Fix my house and then something for retirement.

1

Sounds good.

Thank you for sharing Alan! My why is to be successful and provide for my family. Being here helps me get one step closer to achieving that dream.

All you have to do is keep going!

Your right Alan and I definitely will!

Good - I'm pleased to hear it.

I'm with Paul, why not. Got a true story on this, when my Aunt was in college working towards her Master's in Literature she told me that on time one of her professors posed the same question on a final exam.
She went on to say that her fellow piers wrote pages (including herself) to this question and all the Professor was looking for was WHY NOT.

To be free of a traditional 9-5 gig, and be in control of my own goals.

Absolutely!

Why not??

2

Indeed, Paul.

Exactly!!!
