What's YOUR Why?
We all need a 'why', our vision of the future - so that we can clearly see exactly what we are working towards.
What's YOUR 'why'?

Hello Alan, I am certain my why of being here matches my vision of the future. It has a bearing on my vision, but is not driving force that will move me towards that vision. My "why," is to keep my mind challenged and continue to use some of the skills I learnt over the years whenI worked. I have done that through volunteering, but I found I needed a little more incentive than knowing I am contributing to the betterment of society. My vision is to retire in Jamaica and do whatever I am pursuing from there or wherever I happen to be. With my current income I can see my vision come to fruition, but should I make a little extra income along the way, well I will not say no.
I'm with Paul, why not. Got a true story on this, when my Aunt was in college working towards her Master's in Literature she told me that on time one of her professors posed the same question on a final exam.
She went on to say that her fellow piers wrote pages (including herself) to this question and all the Professor was looking for was WHY NOT.
