Never Let Your Commitment Die
Those of you who know anything of my background and current interests will be aware of my passion for the game of cricket.
The new season, here in the UK, is now underway and I am 'full swing' into my umpiring, having already stood in five matches.
I was reading an article the other day relating to two stalwarts (combined ages 81) of the current Pakistan Test XI, who have both announced their retirement at the end of the current season.
Their mantra has, apparently, always been 'never let your commitment die' and it occurred to me that this is a maxim which could or, perhaps, should be adopted by all WA members as we each strive to reach our particular goal.
