Soy beans and life...
So I planted 15 soy beans at the beginning of summer. They took a long time to grow and I didn't see any beans for a long time. Did I mention this is the first time I have tried to grow them? Anyways after watering them all summer and watching them slowly grow, I finely got to see the pods swelling. The stocks were covered with those little pods. So today was the day I picked them all....I got a huge bowl of pods and spent a few hours popping the beans out of the pods..from the 15 I planted I got about 5 lbs of beans that are now nicely put in the freezer for us to enjoy all winter in soups .
This reminded me of the seeds we all plant each day at WA! Some fall on the rocks and don't grow and some fall on the rich soil and burst with new growth. Nice fresh prospects that once interested in the program then its our job to water and feed them until they are producing a nice crop of money for us...It reminded me it does not happen over night it takes months of hard work to get your first "crop". (I am still waiting for my first) But I can only imagine the excitement of that first sale....ok back to what gets that prospect; writing content and updating our sites...all the best and looking forward to my harvest!

This is a great analogy! My husband used to plant fields of soybeans. I remember going with him to check the fields pretty often as it grew closer to harvest. We are all planting those seeds now and waiting patiently (or learning to) for us to reap the benefits of the crop.

Great analogy, Alan!
By the way, I like and only drink soy milk.
Thanks so much!
