As a page or post in SiteContent?

I just asked this question 1 hour ago!

I wrote a content for '' About Me '' page as per the training showing in the SiteContent, but what I had noticed was that I published it as a page, but it would still allow others to comment. Out of curiosity, I tried to create another new page with exactly the same content, then publish it. Guess what happened? The new published page simply won't allow others to comment! Yes I am using the same theme to do the test! I am wondering is that a bug or maybe that is very normal when you create content in SiteContent platform?

This question was answered 1 hour ago, I am just seeking for double confirmation here! Do you have the same experience there? :)

Not at all, you can allow people to comment on a page, just as you can a post.

To enable the ability to post comments on a page (or turn it off), edit the page and at the top of the page, you'll see a small white tab that says Screen Options. Click that and a panel will slide down. Look for a checkbox labelled, 'Discussion'. Put a check in it, if there isn't one already and now scroll down the page until you're below the content box.

There will now be a new box labelled, 'Discussion'.

There's a checkbox in there that says, 'Allow comments'. If that is checked, visitors can leave comments on the page. If it isn't , there will be no comments section on the page when they view it.

I hope this helps. :)
