Hey guys, need some help with this. Sometimes on youtube I see people combining videos created by others to form their own video. I would like to create a top 10 posts on some

HI AJIRI.
Hope you are doing good.
I notice that you have quite a few badges, am working to get a few. That means you have been doing something good.
I just started with the training and a few things have learn is setting goals is very important, Consistency is key, that is how the other are climbing. So am going to try to follow the lead.
Consistency and weekly goals
PS: what is your niche?

I am currently in the electronic niche as I recently started a website on this.

Great!
Will I be able to see your post on electronic?

That's a great niche, electronic is everywhere, everyone is using it. I hope you can fine some great affiliate links to add to it.

Of course.
It is a website I recently just started and if you would like to take a look at it you can private message me.

You can’t use the official adverts, as those copyrights belong to the merchant/manufacturer. YouTube also makes money from those adverts, so copying them to insert in to your own video would break those terms. You can use snippets to show examples, Along with your own editing (narration), but you can’t use the whole thing in full.

Noted.
Thanks for your help

Search Engine Optimization

Hello everyone.

A thought just popped up and I decided to find out more info on it. Where exaclty does google rank a post? Does google rank a post worldwide or from just

It is ranked internationally or globally. However, it could also be locally though, how to improve your local ranking?

Improve your local ranking on Google You should enter complete information. Local results give more points on relevant results for each search, confirm you location/s and confirm your business locations to ensure they have the complete opportunity, maintain your timing accurately, be prompt to answer reviews.

Google will display your website Globally, however, the exact position you appear in the search results pages, is actually dependant upon the visitor themselves, as Google's Algorithm takes their previous searches into account. If you want to get a rough idea of where your website/page/post is appearing in the search results, you can use Jaaxy's SiteRank or open your Browser in an Incognito/Private mode and then perform a search for your keyword.

Thanks
I would give that a try.

99% of people online only sell and promote in their country. They think small and struggle. Use WPML plugin and market globally.
Market products that sell not ones with low conversion rates and low commissions.
Amazon pays a puny 3%!
I promote nothing but one product. It pays 50%!!!

Does this mean if I use this plugin that my posts would be displayed internationally on google search engine rather than just in my geographical location?

Keyword, Niche and Market Research

Hey guys, just looking for a bit of clarity.
When searching for keywords are we advised to search for keywords that answer a person's question or are we to search for a keyw

Sure, there are no hard and fast rules for using them. Check up answerthepublic for more of such.

The two phrases below are two different keywords in effect, which one gets the most traffic and the lowest QSR?

"what are the different types of hand gloves"

"the different types of hand gloves"

Out of the two above, the common keyword phrase is the second one, so anyone searching for the first term, will also find your second term.

You can use the second one as your title and the first one as a heading within your content

Is it ok to use the first as the post title if it gets more traffic and a better QSR score?

Of course, you do what is best for you, your site and your vistors. There's no hard rules here :-)

Thanks for your help

Hey guys, so I am trying to understand words used by my target audience and am not entirely sure how to go about this.

I believe it would make my writing better and more

Hi Ajiri,

To search for the keywords your audience are looking for, you have a couple of easy options:

1. Use Google to search your audience. Type in some basic words from your audience and you will get a list of search items related to that audience. For example, if you type in "keto diet", your Google search will show that the top ranking sites are abeginners guide and 16 foods to eat on a keto diet. This gives you a hint to what people are searching for.
2. Use Jaaxy, as you are a Premium Member. Type in your keywords to the search area and you will get a list of the highest ranking search terms.

If you need more information, search through the WA training. If you need more, send me a PM.

Best wishes with your online endeavours, Gary

Thanks for the help Gary

thats what keywords are - these are the queries typed into google by your audience.
this is the reason to know your audience, how they think, what they are looking for.
so take your niche and type it into google followed by +forum and see what your audience are talking about - what they really want to know about - what problems they have and start there.
don't know where you are in the training but this is all explained.
have fun
phil

Hey guys, quick question.
Should a single product review be long or short?
I feel if it is long like a 2500 count you might just end up losing the focus of a customer.

Hi Ajiri, as the others have stated it really depends solely on you. I have a single product review around 1000 words that is ranked on google 1st page 1st position and is converting really well.

I also have another one that is over 1000 words on the first page that isn't converting at all.

So there is no one size fits all.

I just continue to write until I feel like I have covered everything important no matter where the word count falls.

Hello Dale, quick follow up question.
Your product review currently ranking 1st on google and doing well does it have product images in it or do just make use of the one product image gotten from amazon associates product link?

I only have the one featured image on the post. It is through a different affiliate company. I am no longer affiliated with Amazon because I wasn't getting enough sales and they canceled my program.

Alright.
Thanks for your help

HI 2 you,

I've attempted and completed a full product review of sorts and am proud of my detailed and thorough "unboxing." I personally feel that a product review should be as long as you wish it to be, the more you write about I feel it'll be more engaging for the audience as they want to know about the product, hence why they clicked on it.

Even a shorter product review can appear long with good text spacing techniques, images and other things to break up the text. I feel this is essential in order to keep your audience instead of presenting them with just mindless text.

Thanks for your reply I would have a look at it

Hi Ajiri,
It does obviously depend on what the product is, as to how much you actually write about it, before you bore the pants off your readers. Doing a comparison of the product does of course bump the word count & still keeps it interesting & relevant. I recently put out a product review at 822 words & its in 4th slot of the 1st page on google, so it gives you an idea.

Cheers, Dunc.

That’s good to know. Thanks for your reply

Kyle has a great lesson on that: His suggestion is a minimum of 1,000 words. Might even want it to be a bit longer. Lots of good research helps.
Joe

Would check that out

it depends on what it is and the cost of it.
something like a toothbrush will take less to sell it than a bently.

so one size fits all is never going to happen.
you need to know your audience and promote the benefits and what their life will be like after getting whatever it is and then the features.
if that takes 500 words or 5000 words that is the right length.
if it is very short, then why not do a best of with a number of items compared to each other - but try to aim for 800 min.
good luck
phil

Thanks for your reply

I would aim for 1000 words or more. If you feel you have fully reviewed the product and have nothing more to add when you are 800 words, I wouldn't write more stuff just to get more words.

Good point
