Day #29 - Rewriting Posts

Hi everyone, I just started Lesson 1 of Affiliate Bootcamp Level 2 training. Really interesting stuff and I learned a lot from Kyle in this section. I had been thinking about rewriting some of my early posts. I felt that the paragraphs were too long and amateurly written. After reading lesson 1 and watching Kyle's video I definitely decided to go back and edit.
I jumped back in to my WA site and copied out my original posts. I use Hemingway Editor to try to keep my writing an easily understandable and a grammatically correct prose. Hemingway does test my patience at times as I try to please it. It hasn't made me a better writer yet but it does make mince meat of my posts and makes me correct them.
When I copied in my text, Hemingway nearly puked. So I started rewriting trying to keep Ernest and Kyle, my two mentors, happy. I feel I may have ticked all the boxes between both. After rewriting both articles, I removed some of my affiliate links from my WA review (I know only have three). I pretty linked those links.
I rewrite my Affiliate Marketing explained post utilizing both Ernest and Kyle's guidelines and then created back links to my WA Review.

Lastly, I wrote a new post on "Two-Tier Affiliate Programs" again applying the EK principles (Instead of writing Ernest (Hemingway Editor) and Kyle each time I am going to use EK going forward). This post was pretty quick to write and I feel it has good information in it.
What I find the most problems with, are copying text from the editor to Site Content or WP and then battling to get it looking the way I want. Also, the lack of being able to underline text and change text color is frustrating. If anyone knows how I can add that functionality I would appreciate it.
Funnily, at the beginning of this journey I felt that writing content would be my greatest challenge. Now I find that isn't the problem, it is being artistic graphically. I struggle with aesthetics, making the website look nice, choosing the right pictures, finding the right pictures, getting the number of pictures in a post correct and altering graphics to fit say as a banner and not make it look like a mutant. These are the challenges for me.
(Yells) Kyle! If you can hear me, any chance you could do a post on the aforementioned problems? If you have, great, I just need to find it and thank you for your support.
Unfortunately, I did not get time to comment on anyone's sites yesterday but I intend to aim for 10 good comments today. After the comments are complete, I will start work on my training again.
Many blessings to you all
Ken
