Website content writing challenge for beginner

I just want to share the challenge I face as a newbie. I hope this will help fellow newbie who might face the same issue that they are not alone.

I have followed the lesson quite consistently until the part on website content writing. I would say that I am stuck here. I have been writing and deleting and going over a few times trying to get content to align to the title. When I found the product I want to promote, I realised my previous content seem to contradict the promotional and sales page. I then have to delete all that was written and rewrite again.

I see this as a learning process. This problem is I wrote my content first and got the website up to keep up with the lesson. When I found the product I want to promote, I need to have my content be consistent with the product promotional page too.

I am doing two sites so it may be I am too ambitious. The point I want to share here is, it is okay to make mistakes. Mistakes are lessons put there to teach us so that we can improve and will not commit them again.

So don't bang yourself if you make mistakes, It just mean that you are taking action and that is a good thing.

You are so right. The sooner that we accept this truth, the quicker we can move forward. Mistakes are inevitable. Trying to implement new information will come with trials and errors. When we struggle with something and do not give up, but persist, the information we are trying to implement is reinforced. Practice makes perfect. I like that you are aware that your content may contradict your other content. Being aware of that is priceless. You keep up the good work and keep sharing. I found encouragement in your post. Thank you very much.

I choose the item I want to promote and then the content just makes it's way in. Do the research on the item, hopefully you have had experience with something similar and do a comparison. Yes, I have probably learned more from my own mistakes than from anything else. You will do great as you learn more. slow and steady! Best of luck to you with your goals.

I think that you can also develop your own position and take on things, so even if you don't have the same position as the material you promote that's OK too, just explain why the differences are there for the readers.

It is about trial and error but it's also about having the confidence to just write and publish, you will always be amending and changing posts that's all part of the process, just keep saying to yourself -you're doing great.

I never thought of that I can take my own position, need to learn how to do this. Perhaps I was taught at school to write within points, so I get very uncomfortable writing out of point. I am writing something about psychogenic erectile dysfunction, and my content is mindset caused ED. The product I want to promote is saying that the physical problem of ED that creates the mindset issue. That is where I felt the contradiction.

While I doing this blog I made another mistake and I think while you all are sending in your comment the image is distorted I have to try few times to get it right, Now I know how to fix this

Very supportive post. Thanks speaking for all of us newbies. I'm one too and sometimes I get very frustrated over my mistakes. But you're right, every mistake is one step closer to the right action. It's still action.

Good point! ~ Rae Anne

Keep on trying, that's the important thing. Your skills will develop with time and patience :)
