Loving yourself

Today is Valentine day. People all over the world celebrate with their loved one, exchanging gifts, going out for a good romantic dinner. There are also some group of individuals who hates Valentine day; these are people who felt lonely that they have no one to celebrate with, People who felt Valentine day is another day of the year for businesses to markup prices like the florists and the restaurants.

Since today is Valentine day I want to introduce you to someone that many of us take for granted. This someone needs love and attention too and this person is ourselves. Just think how well we treat ourselves or keep a promise to ourselves. For example when we make an appointment with a friend to go to gym tomorrow morning at 6 am. We will try to set the alarm clock and will do our best to meet the appointment, Now think about how many times we made an appointment with ourselves on the same and how many times we feel it is okay to miss it? This is because we feel ourselves is not as important. When we look into the mirror, do we find more flaws than good in us?

It is important to love ourselves first, If we cannot love ourselves, nothing will seem right in our lives. We cannot be happy carry a resentment with others as we know, how much more if we carry a resentment with ourselves. .

If today you don't feel good about Valentine day or have any negative thoughts toward it, Check to see if you have any resentment that you need to work on, especially yourself, look at past regret, mistakes that is making your resentment. Let go and accept yourself once again. Remember Valentine day is a day for love, start by loving yourself first.
