SO this is the second time Google has done this to me.
I have multiple email addresses, personal, business etc.

So Google obviously knows I like my own posts haha.
But the reason I wanted to share this with you guys is (and I am blowing my own trumpet here) that I thought this was a fantastic marketing ploy via social media.
I went to a fitness community with hundreds of thousands of members and decided I want to submit an article on what I think are the best protein powders in the world, then I came across this image on Google images, I thought this would be a funny way to promote it by first implying that I didn't know what I was talking about (A lot of people online are like this, argue to the death about things they know nothing about), then breaking that misconception by informing them that I did actually know what I was talking about.
To me this improves trust and authority because it took me from someone who people could care less about and think that I am just another "internet guru" (in quotation marks for a reason..) to someone that is actually knowledgeable within the industry, as you can see, there were 17 comments on the post, they started off being from people that know nothing and just like to take a stab at anyone with trying to improve peoples knowledge, then I retorted with some facts and a few others who were knowledgeable joined in on the conversation and this created strength and trust within my brand and for my reputation within the community.
Never be afraid to poke fun at yourself for a laugh and then back it up with cold hard facts.
Have a great day all!
