we would respectfully ask affiliates not to bid on any keywords including the term ‘Gear4music’ or use Google Shopping to trigger ads on our products. Please can you explain this further to me?

It means that you cannot use any kind of paid ads to promote Gear4Music on any platform. No Pay per click, etc. Doing so will result in you being removed from the program, and the loss of all commissions. You can promote their program using content, such as blog posts & reviews, social media, etc.
