Generic News Aggregator sites Mashable .com for example Whats your Opinion ?! added a Riddle xD

similar to mashable ;) and want to eventually dripfeed the Best posts (summary) of all my other niche - sub niche - micro niche through rss or other method so i generate backlinks from there .
SO i can get high PR backlinks to 3Lizard later on. just wandering if you or anyone else had experience with generic news aggregator sites ?
i know to be able to run it proper you will need allot of content & is hard to run alone but still that can be outsourced & i can even add in a " Author " signup feature where people can post for example from the WA network their Best Article (summary) on lets say a monthly basis and add a link to their website so this will generate a backlink for free.
over time when i juice the SEO on 3lizard making it a 'authority" website
it should give members over time nice extra traffic for free basicly :)

i could add in a dripfeed feature so you can preload posts to post random in the future, wordpress & drupal the only 2 things i use as base platform :)

On 3Lizard .com i have total 6 Posts
but when you go site:3Lizard .com it shows 181 Results ;)
Riddle me this ?! xD
P.S. meanwhile i grow this site if you like i can manually submit posts to it to help :)
