Taking the Plunge
So, I did it. It is for real and it is happening. I have decided to go full force into this endeavor of mine and go for "gold", or premium rather. This is a scary first step, but I know that this community and my dedication to any goal I set will allow me to see this through to fruition.
It has always been a dream of mine to have my income come from a creation online. Whether that be a monetized blog that people rely on for quality information and reviews, a brand of my own to teach others to realize their potential, or a community marketplace for various industries.
This journey will consist of several phases each that I will continue to write about. I am excited to share this journey with everyone. I sincerely hope that my journey may inspire change in others in this community and that my growth will be contagious.
This step I have taken will mark a true beginning for something fantastic and wonderful to grow. Now that I have taken the dive into the premium account and knowledge base, the time has come to start the set-up and plan of attack. Based off of the knowledge I have gained thus far, I decided that going Premium is my best choice for success. In doing so I have taken the next step, and with my best foot forward I have chosen a niche that I believe will allow me to burgeon success for the first time online.
A Little History
Music to me is a portal to the soul. The emotions and physical response elicited through music as an art is both well documented and well known. From a young age I was struck by the talent and sincerity in the voice of an artist. It gave me my first love of composition. Be it lyrical, or musical I was hooked.
Over the course of the last couple decades I have grown ever more fond of the ability to evoke emotions with my art. I learned and still play several different instruments including guitar, piano, trumpet, violin, and organ. In recent years I began developing composition through the use of digitized sound bytes and samples. This enabled me to broaden my genres and round out my general abilities to create and share.
Based on this deep appreciation for musicianship and production ability, I have decided that my first niche will be an affiliate and review site based on electronic production hardware, and software plugins for computer based producers. These will vary widely in genre but will remain consistent in value, quality, and usability. I have extensive background with using these tools and have a unique ability to effectively convey their worth.
The website is just going live now and will have more than an about page come tomorrow sometime. And if I heard correct from the training video I should be indexed by sometime next week. My goal till then is to get as many kinks out of the UX on my site before then so I can focus on content creation and SEO/traffic development. Here is my very rough very first website ever. Any and all feedback is welcomed.
