Certification Level 1 Complete - Thoughts, Results, and Feedback Requests
I am blown away. I decided that this was a worthwhile endeavor fairly quick when I began the level 1 training course. I was sucked right in by the easy to follow, hand held guide process. Between the videos, the article information and the comments below, I will say that from my experience it is impossible to not have a website up and running by the time you are finished.
The only way to fail is if you refuse to start.
My niche was a hard one for me to decide on as I am passionate about so many things. From building hotrods and making money as your own boss, to music production and motivational speaking I just couldn't decide. I landed on music production and making money as your own boss.
I decided to use these two as a combo team because a fair amount of the aspects to home music production are quite expensive. This is especially true for the newcomer to the scene, or the budget conscious producer. Therefore, I felt that adding an entire section about how to make money would be beneficial to my audience. I spun the concept of making money at home to "How to fund it". It being the readers passion.
For this section I will start it with the use of the WA Affiliate Bootcamp training which is on my list of things to accomplish as this site gets further off the ground. In addition to WA affiliate income, I am a member of several different affiliate programs involved in the home music production industry, and will be reviewing and recommending products and using their banners.
This steady development of content and versatile content will hopefully attract readers in the 18-35 range. Being that my audience, I anticipate, will be mostly men in that age range I feel that I can use this platform to potentially grow into my other interests and hobbies as well. I hope to be able to brand theloppyproducer.com into one of many male interest sites.
Multiply and diversify your income streams.
If you have ever talked to any investor or entrepreneur in your life, I am almost positive you have heard that statement. That is the basis for everything I am doing and will do here at WA and with all of my eventual websites.
I am currently just establishing my first site but already I have 6 affiliate programs for referral sales in the music production industry and with WA. I am setting up a Amazon Associate aStore and will be integrating that into my website. It will have several thousand hand-picked items from Amazon, and will give me a steady stream of items to review and recommend.
In addition to affiliate marketing, I will have an extensive advertising strategy. I plan to utilize banners and embedded in text ads and links without being overused. Currently I have one ad campaign going now with Native Shopping Ads from Amazon. This will grow quickly as I become more familiar with the system and progress to that section of training.
As I am completely new to this, I don't want to jump ahead or try things that aren't recommended. This is not to say that I am not dabbling, but I will not be properly integrating ads until I learn how to do so.
The last income stream I have planned out already is email subscribing. This will be incentivized by a free ebook I will off with subscription to my monthly newsletter where I will link to products specials, Top 5 recommendations for XYZ, etc.

I have not yet added the current goal is at least one post a day starting yesterday. But I knocked out the three main pages so today will be my first bit of content. I haven't decided if I want to do a Top 10 style article or go with a recommendation and review.
The ads should be gone now except for the Native Shopping ad on the bottom. I will be adding them in in a more streamlined fashion specific to each post I make instead of having static ads in sidebars that may or may not be where I want them.

Awesome! No worries criticism is the seed of growth in my opinion. If everyone said it was great and needed no work, one I would be skeptical as I am new and doubt I made the only perfect site in the world on my first try. Two, because I know that I need to learn what I do wrong or poorly so I know what to improve on specifically.
And I definitely will pick your brain as I get further and run into any snags. Thanks for the help man!
