My 1st Birthday!

And like a one year old there are still teething pains, but I'm toddling into a brave new world.

A couple more months and I'll be running, no doubt about it!

Wow! I'm absolutely amazed at how much I've learnt, from an absolute beginner to being pretty conversant with building websites, SEO and what it takes to make a great living online.

The biggest lessons are to be patient, persistent and open-minded to the possibilities.

My mindset is the biggest thing that's changed since joining WA.

Everyone wants to get rich quick, or even start making a decent living. But this is a business, and that takes time, sweat and dedication to make it good.

It's been a pretty difficult year in my other life (outside of WA) with a divorce in process - amicable enough but hard nonetheless. And my main business taking a lot of time that I wanted to spend building my online business.

But the lessons I've learnt here from long term successful people is that it can take a year or more to start making a living, and more than that to build it to the sort of figures we all aspire to. And I've fitted that into my long term plan.

Now I've just signed a freelance contract to sell an AI based prospecting tool to businesses. As little or as much as I want and all done by phone and email from warm enquiries.

That's going to pay very nicely for the Now, and affiliate marketing is my long term plan for the Future. And the new role will give me the time to develop my websites from the very solid foundation the last year at WA has given me.

So a massive thank you to everyone here who's offered me support, training and encouragement by sharing their own knowledge, success and pain.
