I want more.
Searching for More
For the past couple of days I have been searching this site and debating if this is the path that I want to take at this time. I love to write, I love challenges, and I certainly like to make money. I have been successful with a few work-from-home opportunities that I have stumbled upon but the income just isn't enough. I think part of me is scared to invest money into a failed venture and the other part of me is so overwhelmed with all that I will need to learn to get this up and running.
I am a nurse so I only work three days a week at a regular job. It sounds pretty plush but nurses work hard and are underappreciated. I can't tell you how much abuse we encounter on a regular day, it is no surprise that hospitals are finding it harder and harder to keep nurses on payroll. Hollywood has nurses portrayed as overweight, casserole-eating, nim-wits who are nothing more than minions that pass coffee and tea. I laugh when I write this because if the public only knew what the actually job responsibilities of a nurse were, they would be embarrassed. My point is, I work my ass off for not very much and I want more. Luckily, nursing does give me a lot of free time to pursue other interests. So, this is where I am today.

I admire nurses a great deal. It's a tough job. There is nothing but opportunity here at WA. Not only that, I find I run across more ideas and ways to monetize lots of areas as I go along. Go for it! Paula
I understand your wanting more. Also I don't envy your nursing job. Not within my pay grade. :)
Since you love to write, I think WA is the perfect place to do just that. Take advantage of the free course that comes with your free membership. Don't skip any steps, and seriously consider upgrading to premium as soon as you are comfortable doing it.

I agree with your description of nurses, but we need you. Start your passion in writing at WA and ask yourself would you like to wake up every morning passionate what you are doing. It doesn't sound like nursing is your passion. Good luck and look forward to seeing you concur your life goals (Freedom)
I love helping people and there are some days when nursing is rewarding. Nonetheless, I do find myself wanting more and that is why I am here.
