I would like to stress the fact that here at Wealthy Affiliate we have the best online training ever.
It is simple, to the point and easy to understand even for non-native English speakers .
Thanks to the training I learned how to use WordPress and was able to rebuild my website from scratch and it turned out looking professional and better than the original one which I paid a web designer to do and I was also paying maintenance monthly
Having said that and being a newbie to all this online business stuff, I found myself stuck few times and even thought about giving up,
I distracted myself by writing blogs about subjects that passionate me which improved my ranking and made me feel good. Actually I think I was a bit addicted until one day I realized that I need to focus more on working on my website
I wished that in addition to this amazing training we had mentorship as well, because we could learn from more experienced people who could help and guide us and save us from making the same mistakes they made.
Just ask yourself, why will you start a new venture without the wisdom, knowledge and experience of someone who has been there before and been successful? .
Maybe we could add a new feature on the platform where successful people offer their help to newbies.
Asking questions on the platform is great. It helped me many times when I was stuck. you get answers to your questions almost instantly but sometimes it is not just about having the answers to your questions. It's also about hearing the success stories of the people who’ve been there which can motivate you and encourage you.
Motivation and encouragement came from many people when I just joined WA. I was amazed and so happy I landed in a place like WA. I was not use to it. I always worked in a very aggressive and competitive environment before joining WA.
I was just thinking maybe we could take the encouragement and motivations to another level.

What I meant by mentorship is a Human Being Connection. That's what I think is missing on this amazing platform.

That's the beauty of this amazing platform, but what I think is missing is Human Being Connection with one or 2 people that walked al the way to success. Made mistakes and from whom we could learn not to make the same mistakes.
I always try to help within the capacity of my knowledge but I cannot be a mentor because I don't have enough experience.
I hope one I can be a mentor.

hey hi Adel -- the entire WA platform and WA community present as guidance with a multitude of 'counsellors' available so to speak
... it's a matter of asking the pertinent questions that you have on your mind as you proceed along with the training -- and there's training galore here! ...
... yes, the two main streams OEC & Bootcamp and there's all of Jay's amazing Live weekly sessions, the Classroom, WA members' training and on it goes....
... Like you, i've felt the same way on occasion -- when that happens, i just take a deep breath, do something else to change the scene and then come back to it -- after all, it's only been a short few months ...
... it takes awhile to absorb what needs to be learned and the right action steps in building a successful on-line biz ... and to keep at it ... :)

There are many individual mentors here on this platform, a mentee pointed out your blog to me as I was on here earlier today and did not see your blog my apologies. The platform really does provide just about everything you need to run your business not just the 2 main training modules but also:
1. Straight above in the black WA tool bar (the gray box just right of the WA icon) is a “Search Box” that has a cornucopia of information anything A-Z about online entrepreneurship, website design, and other aspects relevant to your new online business. You can find all that information and so much more hidden in that gem.
2. “Live Events” tab on the left – here you will find Jay’s weekly Webinar advanced training they are held on Friday evening 8 pm US Pacific Standard Time is when the live events happens or you can wait about 12 hours then (under the same tab) the recorded version will be available to watch. As far as I could tell you can search back 8 years of video webinar recordings (that’s roughly 400 webinars of information).
3. “Live Chat” tab on the left side - if you cannot find your answer in any of the platform’s resources you can always ask in the member’s 24/7 “Live Chat” (please remember these members just like you).
4. Though Private messaging (PM's) - I know for a fact that if you research some of the member’s backgrounds you will find that there are many members here that have over 10 years of owning and operating their own online business or businesses that will be more than happy to provide you with any additional help that you may need. I for one am one of them.
4. “Help Center” - Issues with billing problems or membership inquiries should be addressed under this tab. This is where you will submit any ticket for site support also. Here you will also locate your premium coaches Carson, Kyle, and your referral affiliate.
5. For motivation and inspiration on the home page of the WA platform just scroll down and there is a section of motivating and inspirational blogs from all the different members here offering advice from success from posting on Pinterest, making over $14,000 in 3 days from affiliate sales, or over 100k in one month (a Dom W blog). How much more motivating can you get? :-)
Jay (Magistudios) posted a survey about a month back, so I would image that they are trying to figure out how to offer such an addition service to the members here, but until then the platform should serve as a great mentor for you!
This platform offers some much more than just great training, I think the community here is an outstanding mentor second to none. Each and every member on this platform has different experiences and knowledge levels on a vast variety of topics, some more than others but that is what makes this community so great!!
What more could you want from a mentor?

Yes, at times I would, but I have created my mentors here. There are people I follow that seem to have a lot of my answers, but I get where you are coming from. It would be amazing to have personal access to someone that has a lot of the answers already.

Great post and I agree with you about the mentoring option. I have been here since June, it has helped to have access to others who have more knowledge and experience. However, I believe that we all could gain much more from a mentor that can dedicate time to help others become successful or reach goals sooner. Still a great platform we have at our disposal, lets keep working with what we have. Wishing you much success on your business.
