I Am Giving Up
No it’s not what you think,
I am not giving up on Wealthy Affiliate, I am giving up on chasing my Ranking.
When I joined WA my ranking was a crazy number, and I used to receive follow requests from members with Top 200 and Top 100 badges and to think how am I going to get there and how long it will take?
I gave myself a challenge to reach Top 200 and I did it one month ago. I was writing blogs. Asking and answering questions. Commenting on blogs and posts and that is how I reach Top 200 in a relatively short time.
I never wrote a blog before joining WA. I love writing though and I have been keeping a morning paper for few years now but I write in French.
I discovered I like to write in English too and it has been really fun writing about subjects that passionate me.
I remember, one time I received a comment saying that the subject was not related to Niche business. I asked a question and all the answers were encouraging me to continue writing about any subject except politics and religion and to never spam; which I knew.
I kept writing
Then my goal was to reach Top 100, which I almost achieved until I realized I have been busy with things that are not related neither to my online business nor to my website.
I have all the contents and I just need to put it together.
I will be focusing on that and will continue writing blogs whenever I am inspired.

Think we all at some point realize hey, what are we doing this isn’t making me any money. Although Scarlett and I still are active within the community. We came to the point were we decided our no# then 67 wasn’t the most important thing.

Your headline certainly got my attention. Good for you. While it's good to be helpful, remember to work on yourself and your own stuff too. After all, you are nothing without your website. I used to agnoise about this daily but now...I don't worry so much. I don't have all the answers but I give encouragement, help out and feed back where I know I can make a difference. My experience has taught me that we become so obsessed with our ranking that we forget why we signed up with Wealthy Affiliate.
We become so stressed when we are not in the 200. We spend all our time in the chat rooms and neglect our business.
I am being selfish with my time I am devoting as much time to my business and I am concentrating solely on writing good quality content. I watch as many webinars and tutorials as possible.
Spend your days wisely with Wealthy Affiliate because they are precious

Yes I know what you mean. My goal was to reach top 200 and I did it which means I accomplished a goal. So now my confidence has grown to where I am WAY more productive creating my site.
Gotta find that balance. It’s to the point where I actually enjoy paying it forward that I’ll spend a morning/evening just to make sure everyone else is taking advantage of this program.
