Working on a split screen
I have noticed that a lot of people in WA complain about how difficult it can be to keep up with the training. If you follow the videos that Kyle presents it all seems very logical, but when you go to do it yourself it may not work out so well, even though you have taken a few pages of notes and you think that you understand it.
In my humble opinion this is one of the main reasons that people lose interest and give up on WA. From a purely business point of view this is bad for WA, but it is demoralising for thousands who began with such high hopes of success.
Recently one of the experts here said that they always work on a split screen when learning new material. However, not many beginners may know how to do this. I know that I can not do it and I am guessing there are hundreds, and maybe thousands who can't either. I think it would be very helpful if somebody could produce step by step training on this, or maybe this training already exists.

Good advice! I've even had three to four screens up at one time! Working with two integrated monitors helps too. However; with people being new to multiple screens, John and Trish have the ideas. Good question since many people will benefit from this.
Folks, this will work in Windows 7 also. The thing you must remember is that you must have the pages you want to split open in their own window. It will not work between tabs.
1. Open each page in a separate window
2. Press the Control (Ctrl) key and hold it as you right click on your mouse
3. Click on "show windows side by side"
Great tip, I am off to the shop to buy a cable for a second monitor/tv I have. I watched a couple of you tube vids and realised that my graphics card already has two connections for two monitors. Yip Yip Kazoobah, double screen training here we come.
ok. Here's a Youtube video I found. Again, I have no affiliation to this person but he speaks very clearly and is easy to understand. Hope this helps!

Can you tell me what operating system you are using? Are you on a Mac? Windows 7? Windows 8? That will help match up any help to your specific operating system.
I did not know you could do such a thing, however the way I have tackled the training is to watch, take notes carry out Kyles instructions and go back over if I have not grasp it will check the utube thing out
Hi Con. I understand what you mean about working with a split screen. It can be very useful. I found a Youtube video that may be helpful for you. I have no affiliation to this person. I just thought it might help. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks Emerald, I did watch this and it is a start, but I find it difficult to understand him at times, because he speaks so fast. I will have another go but he is not in the category of the trainers here at WA. Maybe I need it spelled out slowly, step by step for me to understand it, but I think I am not alone in this. Thanks again Emerald, and I will let you know how I get on.

Using two computers also does the trick!
Thanks Joe, people have a few options now.
