Questions and answers
While reading peoples blogs and discussions recently, I have noticed how asking one question leads to so many other avenues being explored. In one instance a person answered a technical question in about three sentences, and the following day did a training on the topic that was four pages long. This training gave a detailed explanation on the reasons why you might use a particular site/resource, as well as how, where etc. which was very useful.
However, this training would not have been produced if the question had not been asked the previous day. It is a bit like going to a game or a concert in a different city and asking somebody for directions. Other people will also be lost and will be anxious to know the same information that you have just received.
As you chat and walk along to the stadium/opera house you discover that there are good bars and restaurants in one street, historic buildings somewhere else, and that a certain taxi service is very reliable. This is information that was obtained as a by-product of asking the original question, and many people can now benefit in unexpected ways.
WA operates like this. By asking a question, you will prompt somebody to produce training or helpful tips in related topics, so don't be shy.

Hi Con! It's one of the phenomenon's that happens here at WA! One thing leading to another, then another. That's what makes our community so different than any others that are out there! That's what makes us unique and why all of us will be successful, in our own right. It's like sitting at the dinner table and talking about the day. How one comment leads to another and then everyone at the table has new information. Thank you for your wonderful blog!
Thanks Sharon, with this interaction all of us will be successful, as you say because we are being exposed to new terms and ideas and different ways of doing things every time we engage with WA.
