Struggling This Last Week
I have been struggling with writing this past week. It's been a crazy couple of busy weeks and this last week, I lost a lot of steam. I am both really excited about the possibility of quitting my real job sometime in the next year and got overwhelmingly anxious about it at the same time. Apparently I have a really hard time writing content when I am this anxious.
i think part of the struggle though is that Course 4 focuses on social media. Getting addicted to and spending too much time on facebook is something I have struggled with in the past. Introducing three new social media sites (twitter, G+, and pinterest) has, I think, contributed to the anxiety. I fear getting sucked in and let that get in the way of being able to write.
Is it possible to start a successful website with all four social media sites in share only mode at first?
If I get to the point where this website is my full time job, I think I could manage working in the social media promotion, but working full time as an engineer, with three children under 8 and one more on the way. I just can't do everything and want to get back to focusing on the writing.

Try keeping a pen and notepad with you wherever you go and if an idea pops into your mind then write it down. Sometimes when we sit in front of a blank screen it's difficult to get started but if you have a list of sentences, (or even one word which you knew you could expand on later,) then it's easier to get moving. It will become more natural in time, I promise :)
