Progress on Website Training at Wealthy Affiliate
Two months ago I stumbled across a website promoting a website called Wealthy Affiliate. I have dabbled in website design since college, but I had never heard of affiliate marketing. I am an engineer by trade, so marketing seems a little out of my realm of expertise.
What I do know is that I love to research things and I love to tell people about what I research. So as I learned about affiliate marketing and how it is used to communicate ideas and connect people with products they might be interested in, I became interested.
I am enjoying what I am doing at survivalwithkids.com. I am learning how to write quality content and how to engage via social media. I'm not sure I'm very good at it yet, but I am definitely making progress. I just keep the mantra "Content is King" at the forefront and it helps.
I have twelve posts on my website. It may not seem like a lot, but given how I work full time, have three kids and am pregnant with #4, I am proud of that number. My goal is to write at least twelve more by the end of June. Wish me a little luck and keep me in your prayers.
