Do You Have A Mentor?
(Picture: Rich Guzman coaching future internet marketers in California.)
Good Morning! it's Ace
I got my hot cinnamon latte here and I wanted to talk about having a real mentor...
I didn't realize before how important it was to have a mentor for my business until I met my mentor and coach Rich Guzman.
In 2009, I was a single mother, unemployed living with my crazy family in New Jersey LOL! and mind you I could really never concentrate on building a home based business with all that noise in the house.
The family two dogs barking all loud, my father playing the mexican mariachi songs in the living room, and my mother constantly screaming my name interrupting me to go do errands for her since she can't drive a car.
How could anyone build a 6-Figure business in all this chaos? You can't do it!
Then Rich and I met and as he witnessed the type of work at home environment I was in he advised me that I really need to shut everyone out and get laser focused on my daily tasks for my business or else nothing is going to change.
Of course being the stubborn headed Jersey girl that I am I asked him why should I do that?
He told me that I should get a business mentor a coach to help me with my mindset and skillsets for building a online business.
Now here is a guy who is standing here in front of me who is already earning a 6-Figure income coaching me on what to do to be successful and I had to nerve to be stubborn against all his advice.
Meanwhile I am looking at my commission check from my business showing $3.33 and his commission shows over $10,000?
That was when I realized I really should hire a business mentor and so Rich ended up becoming my mentor teaching me everything he knows.
And still to this day is teaching me more.
This is why its so important to have real mentors.
Other powerful and inspiring teachers who helped me with my mindset and personal growth are Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor, Napoleon Hill, Anthony Robbins, Les Brown, and Deepak Chopra etc...
From listening to their audio podcasts to watching them on stage in their live stream video seminars on YouTube these people inspired me to want to become a mentor myself...
Have you thought about becoming a mentor yourself?
Honestly have you?
I'm not asking you to think about becoming a huge icon and have your statue put up like Michael Jackson...
I'm talking to you about really putting some thoughts about contributing to your community and help make a difference in people's lives...
You can do it however you want it could be in a closed group, your local community, or even for charity...
It is a good random act of kindness to remember to give back and pay it forward to those not as fortunate as you...
This comes with having a mentor and you learning to become a mentor to others...
You must find the right guidance from those who have already created their own success before you and share it with others.
This is how you can change the world...one person at a time.
Unfortantely we are not taught about personal development in school...
My nine year old knows the very people I just mentioned because since he was a toddler I have been exposing his brain to listen to Jim Rohn.
I was shocked one day when he was in Kindergarten and I was called into school to discuss my son's self-talk in class.
He kept repeating "The birds, The birds are going to get them"...
The teacher asked me why he is saying that phrase over and over...
I told her it's because he heard it from my audio seminar CD by Jim Rohn...
She says to me Who is Jim Rohn, never heard of this author?
Damn...you know how bad that is the teachers don't even know who Jim Rohn is let alone aren't reading books about personal growth and development...
Enough said. I became a mentor and I have helped hundreds of people overcome their road blocks to success and are now making money online.
Now it's your turn, tell me do you have a mentor or business coach why or why not? Leave a comment below ;)

I do not know how or where to find a mentor or coach. There is no one that I know that is in an internet business.
We have a proven track record so if you like us to help you by becoming your mentor, just ask.

I don't have a mentor at this point. The concept of affiliate marketing is still pretty new to many people. My family tolerate my working on this, but certainly are not an encouragement.
That's going to happen it's part of the journey. This is how you can tell you are on the right track. If anyone goes against you whether it's family, friends, colleagues their mindset is stuck in their own place and it's not their fault it's because they were bought up that way. So they can't comprehend what it is you do with affiliate marketing. My suggestion to you is to work on your own intellectual capital which is your mind. This will help strengthen your mindset as a online entrepreneur and when you finally look back at when you started how no one wanted to support you then you will smile and understand the journey. ~ Ace & Rich
Hi Ace, I hope I could find a mentor too and to be able to achieve my goals as the first step is always the hardest. For you to be able to help hundreds of people to overcome their road blocks to success, that's special! Your blog post is very inspirational. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome! If you don't have a mentor I recommend you start looking for one as it can really help you along your journey as a online entrepreneur. I would suggest to start with finding out who's who that is successful already in the niche market you want to model after, before hiring find out about their coaching experience and duplicate their success. Also, start reading and listening to personal development books and videos by Jim Rohn, Napoleon Hill, Anthony Robbins, and Les Brown.
Thanks again for your good advice. I do like reading motivational books and will continue to do so.
You're welcome! Thanks for stopping by and reading this post I trust it inspired you to really think about the importance of having a mentor.
So true. It's not only about helping ourselves develop personally, spiritually and in business but once on the road to success, helping others by steering them in the right direction and helping them keep on track... Especially on their 'down' days.
Entrepreneurship is really like that and there will be days where your like up and days when your down and then back up again and then down...it's like a rollercoaster of emotions. Thankfully, having a mentor that is already having the success you want to model after is a great help to get you through.
