The "GOOD POST" Comments.

I have most probably mentioned this before but the majority of comments i am recieving for my website posts is the old " Good post " followed by a few words irrelevant to the post topic. It especially applies to the new members as i can only asume that they are not reading the training thoroughly. In the second part of the START HERE training about leaving comments on posts, it is quite clearly emphasised by kyle about making your comments relevant to the post.. It can be frustrating when you leave a decent comment on their post and you get back something that is not even mentioning anything about your post theme. So i urge members to either write something related to the post theme or nothing at all.

I didn’t think that site comments let you write short comments on posts. I’ve tried to post comments before that wouldn’t publish until I expanded the comment. In defense of commenters, I think most of us are at least trying.

I have only been here two weeks and try to follow the training. I tend to read the entire article, just out of curiosity. Most of the articles that I have read, I don't really know much about. I pay more attention to the layout and how things are said. After all, it's a learning experience for me to see how other affiliates are doing things.

If I learn something about their niche, then great. If not, then I at least I am learning some of the different styles that we all use.

The people that leave good detailed comments in my opinion, have either been around here a bit, understand the importance of detailed comments, or have received good comments themselves and try to learn to do the same.

While we are on this subject, I did something today that was new to me. A post that I made a couple of days ago, I went back and responded to the response to my post.
Anyone know if there are multiple responses to a post and creating basically a conversation, how is this handled in the site's google rating?

Not sure if it gets extra rating points or just counts as another post.

This has only happened to me once, but I found it very discouraging to receive irrelevant comments and lose the 2 credits for something that did not address the issue I wanted comments on. I thought it seemed like it was from someone who was not a native English speaker, and figured he didn't understand what was being asked for.

Andrew, my sentiments exactly. If it is a bother, then they shouldn't leave comments at all. Going through the motions is a waste of everyone's time.

Maybe new members should have a training area where they have to pass a test in order to continue commenting. I know that the site platform use a similar one for their comments and feedback.
