Thank God For His Protection

It was November 11, 2020 when that surge of typhoon or hurricane visited us.

I thought it was just as the other typhoons which passed.

But at 3 am in the dawn, I was awaken by my children, leaving their rooms and transferring to mine.

Storm surge is raging out there.

Part of my roof gutter has been lifted by the typhoon and so splash of water flooded my son's room.

My husband in duty service far away, A typical mother would worry.

But I remember the story of my Pastor about peace, sighting a bird nestling its hatchling peacefully inside a cave while the storm is surging outside.

So instead of worrying, I trusted fully in God.

Singing songs of peace in my hurt and praying not only for my family and love ones but for everybody under that storm.

I prayed and wait for the weather to come until the morning.

Storm continue within the day and I did my mother duties for the next 3 days.

Flood came to us. No electric power supply and internet for three days.

We had the power supply back last night and the internet connection a few hours ago.

I thank the Lord for shielding/protecting us and providing our needs.

We are all fine as evident of my writing once again!
