There is a difference between writing for the Web and Writing for print here are a few pointers to keep in mind as you write for one or both.

Print methods are

  • Book
  • magazines
  • Newspapers

Online reading devices are

  • PC
  • Tablets
  • Mobile devices
  • Laptops

People read online by

  1. a. Scan on a web page
  2. Read headlines and Summary
  3. Then they scan the bottom of the page
  4. They scan across in F Pattern

Online users like to snack pieces of website information like a piece or cookie or fruit.

When people Read periodicals they like to feast, like eating a whole meal, like a buffet full of food and they're taking everything they can digest.
