1.Here are a few things to keep in mind while writing out your content.

A. Persuade - have them to do something.
B. Inform - To educate them
C. Entertain - have users have a little fun
D. Change behavior - do something different
E. Enforce compliance at Gov't sites
F. Vanity - Don't write with EGO.

2. We need to

a. identify the purpose of each page and or section of each page.
b. A Purpose-driven website must have a site that will be read and useful.

3. Write content that will be
a. useful and interesting for our users, not for ourselves.

4. Use the so what test
a. If you read a piece of content and you go, well "so what" it is not good content.
b. The content must be useful.
