A couple of weeks ago I wrote about having been a software junkie and all the money I have spent on apps, some worthless and some well worth the money.

Well. it seems like old habits die hard. And with a vengeance. Here is a rundown of the apps I have bought and programs I have joined since joining Wealthy Affiliate:

Doodly - $57 An app that you can have a hand writing on a whiteboard with the option of background music and doing a voiceover. Now that I have found out that you have to do a ctrl +V to paste the text I made a couple of videos, none I consider good enough to use. Doodly also has characters and objects which the hand can draw. That takes more talent than I have.

Video Commissions, an app that you can somehow used to legally make use of other's YouTube videos. $12 from Warrior's + Seemed a decent app but I don't want to take the chance of being sued for using somebody else's content.

Animatiox. $17 from Warrior's +. You can make animated logos and banners. I will have a use for that somewhere down the line.

Videotix, $27 from Warrior's +. Can make animated slide videos and app will upload them to Tik Tok and Instagram. I made a few and uploaded to Tik Tok. You are supposed to be able to upload your own sounds, graphics and other content to Videotix but it hangs up every time I try. I don't care much for the selections of content that they show you when you type in a keyword. I will take that up with support and see if it can be straightened out.

Avalanche - $17 from Warriors + Is suppose to be something to drive floods of traffic to whatever site you want/ Turned out to be a video twist on a traffic exchange. If I post other people's videos to my social media they are supposed to post mine on theirs. They call it the Buddy System. If I was to use it I would have to create new social media accounts just for the other's videos.

Abracadabra - $17 from Warrior's +. Another one that was touted to bring you floods of free traffic. All it is is a bunch of tutorial videos by this guy named Jamie Lewis. He tells you what kind of fan page to create on Facebook and what kind of content you should use for whatever niche you want. He keeps talking about his hip hop fan page and his wife's Crypto Girl fan page.

DFY Funnels - $!7 Warrior's +. This might be a good one. I haven't made any funnels yet but one feature is that you can create an ebook with cover and everything. I put in the keyword Affiliate Marketing and selected to show me 50 articles from their PLR library. You can select up to 100. Of the 50 it showed me I selected the 10 with the most relevant titles. Then you can place the articles in whatever order you want. I made an ebook I called Top 10 Ways to Make $100 a Day in Affiliate Marketing. You can edit the articles so I might use the one I made as a giveaway after I edit it to put my affiliate links in it.

VOGenesis - $19 on Clickbank. First saw it for $39 but I found it somewhere else for $19. Some videos teaching you how to make money as a voiceover artist. I can do a professional radio voice but if you watch commercials on TV or hear them on the radio they use all kinds of different voices. One particular annoying one they play on the radio here is one where a male British sounding voice is telling Little Bo Peep how much she can save by switching to their insurance. The annoying female Bo Peep voice thinks it's a great idea and she can use the money she saves to buy shock collars for her sheep so they don't run away.

While VOGenisis does teach all kinds of stuff like breathing while talking and where to put the emphasis on words the relevant thing for me is that I found out how to edit out background and other extraneous noises with Audacity. I don't know if you can really make the kind of money they talk about but I know if I had to I could make a living as a voiceover artist.

Doodle Maker - $47 on JVZoo. There is a regular version for $43 and the Enterprise version for $47. The only difference is that regular you can make up to 5 minute videos and the Enterprise up to 15 minutes. It uses an AI system that makes it really easy to make good animated videos. I just bought it yesterday so I haven't watched all of the tutorial videos yet but one of the ways it creates animated videos is that you paste the link from a YouTube video and it extracts all the text. I made one like hat last night, selected a female voice with an American accent and it did the rest. There are over 60 different languages as well as accents you can use. I think this will be the thing I used to make lots of videos to put on YouTube.

Wealthy Affiliate. I joined WA in March. At first it seemed easy and pretty simple to grasp. Then it became overwhelming with all the info thrown at me from all directions. Still, good training and the fact that there are lots of experts on every aspect of the technicalities who will answer your question is priceless. I took advantage of the offer in May to pay $299 for a year and now I am grandfathered in at that price as well as being able to have as many as 25 sites.

I am not one to shy away from competition but I saw this morning that Google is planning another "update" very soon that will screw almost everybody. Competing with Google is like competing against God. Or Superman. I throw up my hands and bow before such overwhelming superiority. After following the training and using low hanging fruit keywords and all that I was still getting zilch for traffic.

I decide to write for the readers, such as they are and try to inform and entertain them regardless of what Google thinks. If Google doesn't like it to hell with him. (Forgive me oh great Google and please don't smite me in any of the mysterious ways you can?}4

I have decide to concentrate on building an email list/. With enough names on a good list I can drive my own traffic. Which brings me to the next item.

Leads Leverage - $9 to join and $49 a month to upgrade to be able to actually use it to build a list I have been with Leads Leverage since June and it's working out very well and have gotten some commissions. There are commissions from $4 up to $3200. They even pay you for the clicks of people who don't buy anything. Anybody I refer passes up every 5th lead they get to me just as I pass up every 5th one of my personally generated leads to the person who referred me.

Traffic Authority. Free to sign up, $47 a month to be a full member. Traffic Authority sells traffic which goes to any of my Leads Leverage capture pages I select and they are then placed in my Sendshark autoresponder where they are immediately marketed.

Sendshark is $25 a month and they allow up to 50,000 names on your list. They also pay 50% commission for referrals.

Any of the above 3 could be a standalone program. Say if you were already getting lots of leads from social media or YouTube videos you wouldn't necessarily need Traffic Authority. If you already had a lot of leads in your Aweber or Getresponse autoresponder you wouldn't want to switch to Sendshark because your leads would have to be re verified and you would risk losing some.

Worldprofit - free to join and $99 a month to upgrade. I upgraded at the beginning of July thinking it would be an additional source of traffic. Turned out all the traffic is from safelists and you have to join each safelist and send your messages separately with each one. Not saying it wouldn't work but that's a lot of work for very little return. I canceled my membership before I would get charged for August.

Legendary Marketer - $7 to take the 15 Day Challenge. I have completed DAy 10 and have had several Zoom conferences with my advisor. The owner, Dave Sharp is a super salesman and he brings in people like Tony Robbins to reinforce what he pitches. I understand the psychology of it. On Day One they show you how to build a sales funnel and one of the assignments is to join Clickfunnels for a 14 day trial and then $97 a month. I didn't do it because I don't like free trials because I could forget and get charged. I would rather spend the $97 on lead generation. Clickfunnels probably is the best and when I need to create funnels and can spare the money I'll join.

On Day 2 the assignment was to buy Rich Dad Poor Dad which I did for less than $6 after S&H. Great book I wish I had read a long time ago. Day 5 is the big pitch for the whole shebang. Zillions of dollars worth for $2500 if you buy within 48 hours. It's beem more than 48 hours and I didn't buy it. I want to promote it but my advisor said you have to apply. I don't know what the criteria is to be accepted.

The guy who referred me has a YouTube channel with a lot of ways to make money that seem like they are workable/ He has thousands of subscribers and says he makes over $20,000 a month from his videos. One of the emails he sent me showed his name in a screenshot of Legendayr Marketer affiliates who had made $1000 or more that day. His name was #5. I recognized the #3 name on the list He is a WA member who is also an ambassador. I have long been convinced that the WA members who re pulling in the really serious cheese are doing other things in addition or in place of using SEO for organic traffic.
