I Think My Dog's a Democrat

Before I get into the gripping drama of the minutae of my daily life I ask you: Have you ever seen Dog Day Afternoon with Al Pacino?

WA business first. I had written a rather lengthy post. I left the browser open while I ran an errand and when I got ready to post POOF! Like Magic! It was gone. Has this ever happened to you?

If you can't tell there is a graphic above this sentence. Some people say I write posts about nothing. Now I'm posting images of nothing.

The term dog days refers to the hot steamy and humid days of summer, Usually August. It's been like that here since May.

And not a chihuahua or Yorkie type day. More like a pit bull/rottweiler day.

I'll bet you didn't know that the chords of The Thrill is Gone and Hotel California are the same? I've been thinking about doing an audio blog post. Doing a podcast would be fun and interesting but I have no idea how to monetize it.

Let's see. I told you about my wreck last week. Still having to rent a car. There used to be weeklong or weekend deals for a lower rate but now they charge you the same daily rate no matter when it is. Get's expensive.

Last night a friend came over and bent the fender of my truck out a bit. Seems to steer a little better but I'm not going to drive any distances until I make sure. Going to drive it to a repair shop I have done a lot of business with. Sometimes they do me right. Sometimes they charge way too much. Auto repairmen, along with bankers, lawyers and robbers should have been wearing masks long before everybody else.

Imagine walking into a bank with a mask on 6 months ago.

On the flip side

Some things are going pretty well. Except for the fact that I bought a new compact Walther PPS for concealed carry yesterday and then find out there is a shortage of 9mm ammo. What am I supposed to do? Throw the gun at the bad guy?

But my email list building system is working great. Lots of new opt-in addresses being added to my autoresponder every day. If I can't get the there with SEO I'll dive them there with a different horse.

I updated the homepage of my website to reflect the list building.

Oh, and I bought a software called Animatiox. It lets you make clickable animated banners to put on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and some other social media platforms. I don't think it will upload to Tic Toc.

And Animatiox was only $18. It's on the Warriors Plus Affiliate network if you have an account with them or you get an email from somebody promoting it.

And I know you are all waiting with bated breath for me to post an auduo blog so I;ll try to get around ro it.

What is bated anyway? What do you catch with it?

Well that got me grinning. Jim

Enjoyed reading this post, Neil-- you have a real conversationalist tone!
Might have to try the Animatiox--sounds interesting!

Have a great day!
