Stepen,

This is why we take vacations and why we have our families to go to. Nobody has a perfect life. On the other hand, there are consequences for our behavior. When someone gets out of line or breaks code, discipline is in order.

If we let our kids get away with murder, we are hurting them in the long run. From the advice of Dr. Laura Schlessinger, everyone has to "do the right thing."

You did the right thing. Don't feel bad. We have a responsibility to keep things in order and under control. Don't you watch Law and Order?

Rachele

Thanks, I understand but hate having to do it. I gave up watching tv a year ago. I’m in a house with 4 tv,s and don’t watch any of them. I feel better for it..

🙂

This sounds like something I would write after a few shots of tequilla. As an English teacher, it must have been satisfying to write.

I am sorry for your frustration-- and I wish I could help. I was never any good at letting staff go. I handed off the job, or just let them expire on their own. It sounds like now that you let someone go, you have to do their job and yours too, forgoing a holiday. Or you loved them a lot, making it all the more difficult.

I would love s car go go-- and see where it goes.

"Can you "escar go go" into a holiday of dreams that will change your mindset into a money making magnet." Yes,

I like it!

Mini breaks work for me.

I rarely take vacations. None for the last 6 years. Before my mother was gone, I used to go back to Canada every 2 years (give or take).

Now I take mini breaks. If I need to go to Bangkok for a meeting, I will take the day off. (Most meetings are in the evening, as they are work-related talks).

It is not a great break, but it does help.

Alex

Living in Bangkok is like taking a holiday anyway.

I'm taking holiday from my office, but only to get done much needed time to do chores around home.

I'll need moving slowly like a snail though, because it's so hot here today.

Hopefully no one snatches me up and makes escargot out of my heated carcass.

Thanks for the journey!

Keep on thriving, Stephen!

Al

Haha..someone got y bad pun.lol.

Sorry about the challenges your faced with, I think all would like a holiday — I know I would for sure!

We could arrange an alternative WA conference

I like that idea…
