The streets are pleasant to drive around today as a lot of people have gone on holiday. My wife only had to close her eyes and clench my arm 7 times today, a record in restraint for her.

We went to our other school today and I was meant to take pictures of others painting the walls. However when I saw that they were going to dip the whole roller into the pant tin "sans" paint tray, I took over the painting.lol.l

Luckily there were only 3 grubby walls to paint, so I had those finished within 2 hours. I used to do a lot of painting when I was buying houses etc.

Anyway I will finish the rest over Christmas, but it looks ok so far. I hate to think what it would have looked like.

Talking about painting I dragged up some of my old stuff this arvo as Inwas putting together some t-shirts I was thinking about selling hmmm, or maybe giving away.

Here's the drawings...so so...

I didn't say they were good...loL

And a couple of T-shirts I'm getting made up. T-shirts like most things manufactured in Vietnam are dirt cheap, labor is cheap. That why Samsung and a lot of mobile providers are here or opening here. Apple soo too, from what I hear. Even getting 1 t-shirt made up here is dirt cheap and am thinking of doing print on demand as a side gig.

or something along those lines...

Obviously needs a bit of tidying up.

Stephen

Argghh, she who must be obeyed is here...ouch...I gotta go,lol.

Stephen,

You have great artistic skills.
Art is a fantastic way to be creative, to express, and to relax the five physical senses. Teachers' other talents go beyond the classroom.

One of my favorite classes that I ran as a counselor was an Art Therapy class. Not only was it therapeutic for my rehab students, I also gained a whole lot of insight too. Not too many of us are born creatives, but it is one of my favorite outlets.

I cheat sometimes and do my paint-by-numbers binge.
Thanks for sharing. I love the T-shirts. I got to design my own T-shirt in my Zoom class while i was recovering from hip surgery.

Thanks Rachele, the main reason I love drawing is it de-stresses me. There are times when I just lose myself in my pictures. And after I have been drawing it feel like I have been meditating..
Thanks
Stephen

That's the beauty of creative arts. It is a very relaxing and therapeutic experience.

Hi Zoopie, that was an exciting slice of your day, and your pictures, I liked the curved road with the grate and the door.
Thanks for sharing, and your eye surgery must be healing well if you are driving. ( Driving looks like something to just get used to. Wow!).
Blessings to you, Zoopie!

I think it was RAF Stuart who had eye surgery done…I certainly need knew glasses but not quite at the eyeballs 👀 out stage…lol.
Driving in Vietnam has it’s own peculiarities. One of which is I try not to look. You will be bare millimeters away from others Dinh 50-60 k and often same road, different directions.
Riding on the footpath is ok, and you will get stared at if you stand your ground as a pedestrian.
Remember the road rules, the bigger vehicles Les come first…doesn’t matter the direction.
So Truck
Bus
Van
Car
Motorbike
Motorcycle.
Electric motorcycle
Etc…down to.pedestrian.
I used to live with a teacher who drove all the way to school on the footpath or on the wrong side of the road. 10 minute instead of 30 minutes legal diving and then he drove home…quite legally. 50% was ok.lol..
walking is an art quickly forgotten now. Ha I used to drive 4 minutes to my local shop rather than walk 5. Lol.

Amazing nerves of steel, and a beautiful heart you have, Stephen! Thank you for the lengthy explanation. millimeters is pretty scary living in the stream of life there, but everyone does what they have to do, and life goes on.

Nice work with painting, Stephen. Did you take time to have a refreshment afterward… Lol. I think the print on demand could be an interesting side hustle.

Susan

I will let you know how the p.o.d goes.
Cheers
Stephen
