I think there is a way to stop that friend. Putting links in the comment section of your website should be considered a spam. I think there is a plugin that will filter that out for you and prevent the visitor from leaving links when commenting. I've never experienced that so far. All the best!

Stephen.
I've read the post, I've read the comments, and I'm still confused.
From what I'm understanding, you're saying that when people leave comments on your website their name is linking to their website.
Is that correct?
If so, this is a perfectly legitmate practice.
Many WordPress themes will offer:
Name
Email Address
Website
to someone wishing to leave a comment on a particular post (Image Enclosed Below)
As long as they provide their website homepage in the "website" section this is perfectly acceptable.
If they are leaving affiliate links or linking to a particular page or post via their name, then I would be annoyed by this.
And of course, NO LINKS EVER in their actual comments, unless it's someone you know and they have asked your permission first.
Blog commenting (on other people's websites) has been long been used as a separate form of "social media".
Plus, it can provide a decent backlink to your own website if the link is "dofollow".
I know I have left comments on high Domain Authority websites (in a legitimate manner by adding my "name" "email address" and "website" where appropriate - again check the image below).
This has typically provided me with a decent backlink, and often traffic if people are intrigued by my comments.
If you're talking about something else, I apologise, and would love some further clarification.
In the meantime, lay off the 15 hour days and the chamomile, Hahaha.

Lol, All sorted. And yep, asking first is nice. But as an aside I tried your wierding out advice and was rewarded with a few quick clicks. Now I’m going to get even weirder.lol.
Partha, thank you for the explanation.
