Hello! I've tried to buy a .it domain but it's grayed-out!

Is there any solution to this or I should leave wa and build the website elsewhere?

Don't forget you have to be premium for WA Hosting for your own domain

Glad you received input from Triblu and Alex.

You just joined June 8th - Outstanding - so there's no need for apologies for asking legitimate questions. It took me 2-3 months just to find the refresh button!

All the best to you, Mattia!

Hello!

Can someone help me answer this?

I'm sorry but I'm an absolute, utter newbie in building websites, I just administer one that is already done for a company.

So basically where would I "buy" a .it domain? And after having bought it, could I transfer it to WA hosting? Am I correct on this?

Thanks for your help!

Hey Mattia,

No need of being sorry for being new to this. We all were new at this one time or another.

Google searching "buy .it domain name" (without the quotation marks, of course) I was offered several options. I recommend you run the same (or similar) search and select one.

Hope this helps you.

WA offers the registration services, you can buy it here.
Click on Websites>>Site Domains in the left menu

@Labman thanks but .it registrations are not supported, hust .com, .org and .net, that's why I'm asking!

Hi Mattia,
Currently, Wealthy Affiliate domains only support .com, .net, .org.

So if you are searching for a domain outside of these extensions you will have to go to another provider which there are many. I personally have domains here at WA and also domains from other providers. in different countries as well.

So the thing to note is that the WA hosting of domains with different extensions eg .io, is not affected and they can be hosted here at WA.

sometimes a domain that you are looking for may be already purchased so unavailable;e from a provider.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Mr. Evans!
