I believe you have just admitted the issue. You had opened two accounts and it means it is recognised as a duplicate which is picked up by the spam bot. You need to contact help centre to open the other and close one...you cannot have two.
I register this account to get help, because on the issue account I could not access to any page except peyment surface not to speak of contact help centre. So I register this new account to find help.
Therefore, it may not be the reason you said cause this new account was registered after the issue.

try opening a new privacy window and logging into your original account.
if that works then clear your cookies a,d browser history and try again.
or even try a different browser.
