Best Way To Motivate Employees
Wow, I have reached the top 200 in WA today.
Not that I was looking for this in particular but now that it happened I feel very good indeed.
A long time ago I read a book and it said the best way to motivate employees is to give them internal ratings.
Ther is no more to it than just show to the individual and the community that someone is doing a good job. No financial benefits, no gifts, just a green flag or like here a certificate and label that shows that the fellow worker has reached a level that stands out from others.
The Wealthy Affiliate makers are well aware of this knowledge of motivating I must think. The same system they use on the website manager dashboard, with the site health bar. This bar is not really relevant to the actual quality of the website but again to see it green is very motivating.
I work here with you for 9 months now and I don't regret a second. It was hard work and an interesting development. I still can not say I am a successful internet entrepreneur but I think I am well on the way to being that.
Commitment and hard work they say gets you where you want to be. Self-questioning sometimes don't hurt and self-critic is something everyone needs to grow. Setbacks and disappointments will be experienced along the way but the way is the goal and how you react to the way is who you are.
To get symbolic motivation like we get here at WA surely helps to go on fighting in times of low power and weak self-esteem. When many people work in the same room one can for example put up a green balloon next to a better worker's workplace for everyone and this same worker to see, that his engagement is recognized and appreciated.
I set my goal for the next 10 months to get a daily site visitors rate of 100 organic searches at least. Two months ago it was 0, today it is already around 3. The first one or two daily organic searches are the most difficult I think, after that, there are ways to build upon these two.
At this point, I want to thank all the nice people here at WA that help to answer questions, offering training and comments and social engagement. I am not seen in the live chat, as for me I am too slow to follow this feature lol.
A big thank you to Kyle and Carson of course, for bringing this wonderful community to live.
I have never met a group of people engaging with each other in a quality and quantity like here. I feel great and safe here and confident to achieve my goals.

Great job in getting to the top 200. it takes a lot of time and effort to get there and stay there. I agree that WA does a good job motivating us to get the job done. I hope I am up to the task. I too live in Thailand and love it here.
My wife's family is from Jomtien, so I live there, away from the beach on the opposite side of Sukhumvit. Thailand is a great place to live.
Sometimes I do stay in Bangkok, normally very close to the Thailand Cultural station, on The MRT line.. But the house is in Jomtien, just East of Pattaya. Jomtien is where my wife's family are from.

Sorry, I didn't hear of Jomtien before nor did my wife, then you wrote Sukhumvit and I thought in Bangkok.
I guess its nice there, near the beach. Is it very busy?
Jomtien is not too busy, except on the weekends when lots of people from Bangkok visit. There is a beach, but we live away from the beach.
