Writing my First Book
Piggybacking on my recent successful Wealthy Affiliate Training, 3 Million Montly Visitor Formula I have decided to make an extended e-book on traffic generation i8ncluding this training and more information on basic SEO, Social Media Marketing, and Native Advertising Benefits.
It's sure to be a page turner and I expect it to take about 2 months to write but I will need to build some elements of promotion like a street team, and could really use some advice of others who have published e-books, especially Kindle Books in the past.
If you are an e-book author get with me about setting up an authors' launchpad where we can share tips, generate buzz for new book launches, and get early feedback. I am a big fan of Gundy Gabriel's launch team forum for authors' but it's size makes it easy for an author to get lost.
How do I know the time is right?
I have several blogs in the works and within a couple months time I will be too busy for a bit to write this manuscript. My follower for years have asked for this book to be written and i have a voicing body and potential affiliates lined up that could really make for a great launch by no later than February should I get bogged down or miss the before Christmas window. I would rather be ready bu November but there is a ton of work to do.

Gundy Gabriel says the creation of an ebook and being published, especially if your street team is strong and you reach Bestseller is the easiest and most lucrative way to be branded an expert in your field. I have some expert status but much of it is before my breakdown. Time to kick things up a notch.
Have you tried the designrr eBook software? It's a breeze to use. I'vecreated several eBooks with it.
Awesome! Good choice on doing it when you know you can actually do it. Better than waiting and it never happening because all your blogs demand your attention.

Friends have been after me for 10 years and I started twice but the subject was wrong so I started over or just circular filed them. Now feels like an amazing time.
*** as one esteemed author has wisely counselled -- do not rush to market too quickly -- write well & thoughtful and the audience will be there ... or some such phrase -- from memory somewhere... that's a great goal to achieve -- writing your 1st e-book -- suggest keep it simpler and as more of a tantalizer -- a traditional book can be more of a tome than e-books ... i think ... and from what i've seen ... all the best, cheerio ... :) ***
Thanks for some sage advice. I have some other ideas in the works with it that may take the added time if all goes well but that's not for certain. I may wait until I write a second book to add say a master class or mentoring as a service.
... you're most welcome -- love to share and to help! ... you may already know this and i've seen where some marketers will offer an e-book as an enticement to sign up -- and these e-books are generally very brief essay-like and easy/simple to read ... they're mostly 'give-aways' ... it depends upon your overall plan of what you'd like to do ... enjoy it all ... cheerio ... :)
Yes, I have an e-book report I wrote on my blog to gain newsletter subscribers. It's a short 7 point report on blog success that leads people into Wealthy Affiliate. I will probably trade it out for a leaked chapter of this e-book close to the time for release as it will help in getting some high power affiliates behind the launch.
... good idea! ... yes, most notable published authors have actually wrote out a full book / manuscript and then used excerpts or summaries from it as a result ... go for it! ... cheerio... :)
I wish I could help you in the publishing of your book, but I am not an author or don't have experience in marketing books. Nonetheless I wish you success and you will get it done before the end of year.

Cheerleaders help, I will need people to read and review advanced copies on Amazon. This is where you might fit better than you think.
It's more a matter of putting the right people together as writing the book will come as easy as writing a group of blog posts on a related subject. Wealthy Affiliate has given me the confidence and I know a ton of great people here and in my other networks.

There are groups on twitter where authors help each other.
Yes, I am part of one on marketing books on Facebook it's just a matter of being seen and supported. Some launches go huge others get lost, I'm trying to go big and hit bestseller if possible so looking at all possible learning between now and then. Thank you I will check out the Twitterverse too.

The best part is that Kindle publishing or even releasing on ClickBank or JVZoo means more traffic and subscribers for my blog which will also help generate even more traffic. I am hoping to make it into Kindle because of the far reach and potential years of longevity. It's going to be a real experience.
