Why am I here today? I should be in the Hospital.
Just stopping in for like my 12-13th time tonight as I was unable to sleep with my lungs too full of fluid, possibly pneumonia again. I am here right now to talk dedication or borderline madness. We call it passion and others look on us saying it's an insane addiction. I call it the 9th love of my life as my wife and 7 kids count for 8.
Affiliate marketing must be in my soul and tainting my blood and Wealthy Affiliate has made the passion take over sanity.
I love what I do, and hate having missed the last 8 days too stubborn to decide it was time to go to the doctor to the point I now have to visit the ER because I was too sick to drive to my Doctor's Appointment 4-5 blocks away this monring. It's lunacy as I await the time for my brother to be able to take me down on what is now his Birthday and renew my Amazon account, add the affiliate disclaimer to a new site, and start integrating banners and product links to existing content.
I should be asleep, but can't sleep because my ribs and back are in spasms from the coughing and so my entrepreneurs spirit has kicked in and said if you are not dead work. I am just wondering if there are others with this wonderlust for a viable business of our own who have stuck around despite years or even decades for ups, downs, and lost sleep still vying for their time at the top?
LOL I even joined a CBD Hemp network yesterday to add yet another site to the mix in a few weeks lol and have been working on the framework of a site on Baseball. I have been doing everything but writing great content because I can't stay out of bed long enough for the words to come out right. The only good thing there is, I do have a outline for all 8 of the articles I must write between now and the 3rd to hit my monthly goal.
The moral of the story is if you are like me already we are either broken or genius. If you are not either don't become me or become me and love every minute of it. I love Affiliate Marketing, I love Wealthy Affiliate, and my blog is an extension of my being.
Now to convince the wife writing is not a mistress and blogging is not cheating.

Aww.. Sorry to hear that Andy. There are definitely worse things to be addicted to. Here, we are actually working on something to benefit ourselves and our lives, maybe even our family's lives. While we're at it, we're learning and growing.
I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Sometimes it's good to give yourself a break and get some rest and relaxation to feel refreshed. See your doctor for help and advice. I wish you all the best.
Take after my dad in that aspect, the more we hurt, or the sicker we get, the more we tend to be jovial and uplifting to those around us. Every time I go to the Dr. or hospital someone laughs even if I can't. I was joking as I came off morphine the first time having had half my colon removed lol. I was in enough pain tears were streaming but I had 1 intern and 2 nurses laughing their butts off lol.
Thanks, Glen, you knew me before my nervous breakdown and I trust your concern. I have always been a workaholic and many times to my detriment.
Honestly, finding anything at all to do instead of caring for your health is called denial. I am guilty right along with you.

The first 3 days were easy enough thought is would pass soon but then I could barely leave bed for 4 days and mostly slept and that's when I got worse too much fluid piling up as I lay back not working. I am prone to pneumonia and have had it 4 times already so I should have had my brother take me one of the times I was awake. Yesterday was a little better and had a Dr. appointment set for this morning but took a downturn last night and coughed too bad to sleep. So I missed my appointment not being well enough to drive safely. Now I will pay the price.

Andy, boy, you are one determined guy. I admire your stubbornness but when it comes to your health, I wonder if that's such a good idea. Your health comes first, we will always be here. But I am sure being on here WA and working your business is a great distraction for you, that part I get. I get that it is addicting. Sure is better than medicines, eh? Well, Andy, please do take care of yourself. Your family needs you to stay alive, so please do think of them and your fellow members here on WA. We care and keep us posted after a visit to ER. I hope something can be done for you.
