Things I like most about blogging.

Today we have been challenged by another member to answer why we want to be affiliate marketers or bloggers. I have a new challenge for you as well. I want to know in the comments below, "why doyou like blogging?".

Here are the personal reasons I love being a blogger.

1. Of I had to sum up what a blogger is I would say we are brokers of information. We bridge the gap between people seeking andswers and the answers they seek and give the a resource to easily find those solutions. Sometimes the solution is free, other times it is product based and we get paid a commission.

2. We get paid for helping people. That broker of information can be anything from helping people learn to clip an infant's toe nails to performing CPR and saving lives. How fulfilling is that?

3. We have massive freedom. As long as we live in a country where free speech is practiced we can blog about anything we like. We can have blogs on politics, religion, lack of religion, the occult, birds, elephants, the cirus, and good old Baseball. The opportunities are endless.

4. We build financial freedom. If we work hard and apply ourselves we can fire our boss in a few years and live our dream lifestyle. No more 9-5 schedule. No missed first steps or dance recitals. No more Big Old Soul Sucker draining your life blood and deciding the value of it.

5. Creativity firing on all cylynders. From would be authors to photogrophers, and graphic artist to sketch artist and painters you find all sorts of ways to explore your creative side and share it with others.

6. Theraputic benefits. I have personally beaten back the ills of soccial anxiety to the point I have it on the run in just 6 years. I have gone from a person who was a shut in unable to talk to strangers much after my nervous breakdown to attending a Major League Baseball Game. I no longer get chest pains in the check out lanes at Wal-Mart and get to the park with the kids on special occasions and sometimes just for the heck of it.

7. I love the leadership role it gives me in building a tribe, community, or mastermind. Even if you have no leadership skills coming in you learn step by step to be a niche expert and people begin following you. Your tribe of people will follow you and your lead into anything. You lead by example and by wisdom and you can't say no I don't want to as it comes naturally.

8. Confidence building. As you get reminded that one time you couldn;t walk or talk and now you can learn anything you start seeing yourself doing exactly what you thought was impossible. Roadblocks open and mountains are either climbed or shoved straight out of your way.

9. Family matters. I can spend more time with my family offline but I also get an entire community here at Wealthy Affiliate, on my blog, and on social media of extended family members. There are dozens of people I know online I would be proud to call friend and neighbor.

That's about it for today. The ball is in your court to add your perspective, or add thoughts that I have not considered or maybe didn't mention. It's also great to hear your personal experiences with each of these points.

Thank you for your time, likes, and comments.

You have achieved so very much being able to go out in public now without anxiety. I have learned what anxiety is after breaking my ankle 3 years ago. I suffered some anxiety attacks at night and had to learn to deal with it so I understand somewhat about anxiety. I'm so glad you have been helped by blogging.

Being of service to others is very important to me, and blogging is one way I can do that. Being a handicapped shut-in, I don't get out and about much and so my world is within these walls and wherever my computer takes me. It opens my world to limitless possibilities.

When people respond favorably to my blogs, I feel like that service is being helpful. I blog because I have experience in many areas of life that I can share and perhaps be of help to someone else.

For me, blogging has given me a voice my circumstances didn't allow before.
Blessings

You kind of did a summary of why I am here at WA. What a great read. All the way through, I went yes, yes, yes....

Thanks for sharing as ever Andy, much appreciated, Phil

Excellent post, Andy! One of the beauties of the WA community is that you can see, from other's success, where this business can take you.

If you're willing to work to get there!

Great post. Yes, we should understand what we are doing and who is a blogger. As a blogger, we have to keep in mind what we are writing and what we are sharing every time. A blogger is one who does the work regularly.

It sounds like you have benefited greatly from blogging. You came up with so many good reasons for practicing this art.

My biggest reason for blogging is that I love to write, and certainly get the chance to do lots of that. You have come up with some very good reasons that I hadn't even considered.

Enjoyed reading your post.
